Is Africa cursed?
It is on record that civilisation started in Africa. Unfortunately, the rest of the world have since overtaken and left us far behind. Why?

Are there no more genuie leaders in Africa?

Where are the Mandelas, the Nkruma, the Awolowos, the Lumumbas and other Servant leaders in Africa today?

How do we prevent corruption from perpetuating our continent like uncurable cancer?
Also how do we tackle the issue of bad governance, manipulation of polls, recycling of certain cliques called 'elite' and lack of physical development in Africa?

Our so called cash crops, farm produce and some mineral resources are not only taken for pennies by the developed world, but prices of virtually all of them (cocoa, coffeee, rubber, tea, tobbaco, gum arabic and many others) are determined here in the West.
Surprisingly, a fraction, of the by-products of what originated from Africa, are developed by the west and returned back to Africa as finished products for sale at cut throat prices.
Now, that we know, that the purpose of WTO is for us to open our frontiers as a continent for Western world finished and agricltural products (which are heavily subcidised) and expect our sub-standard and unsubcidised ones to compete with theirs in the market. The playing ground is not level, therefore, what shall we do?

What can Africans in Diaspora in conjunction with Africans at home do to remedy situation?

Shall we make representation to African leaders, showing our demands and expectation, instead of watching from the sidelines whiles they deliberate on United State of Africa which is not needed as of now?

Please, send your views and let us tackle this issue together.
